Police Seek Kyhani Cochrane, Last Seen In Summer Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate 14-year-old Kyhani Cochrane, who was last seen on Carlton Crescent in Summer Hill.



Kyhani was last seen at about 2pm on Thursday 2 July 2026. Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified that she was missing and began inquiries into her whereabouts.

A public appeal seeking assistance to locate the teenager was issued on Tuesday 7 July 2026.

Welfare Concerns For Kyhani Cochrane

Kyhani’s family and police hold concerns for her welfare because of her age and because she lives with autism.

Police have released a description of the teenager to assist members of the public who may have seen her since she was last observed in Summer Hill.

Kyhani is described as being of Caucasian appearance and about 165 centimetres tall. She is of medium build and has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a blue hoodie and tracksuit pants when she was last seen.

Teen Known To Frequent Redfern And Other Areas

Although Kyhani was last seen in Summer Hill, she is known to frequent several other locations.

These include Redfern and Annandale in Sydney, as well as Wollongong and Campbelltown.

Police are asking anyone who may know Kyhani’s whereabouts, or who has information that could assist with the inquiries, to contact Crime Stoppers.
